Can We Rule Out Causality?

Image
In this age of progressive scepticism, some scientists and philosophers have expressed scepticism concerning the Causal Principle - 'whatever begins to exist has a cause’ In particular, they have objected that, even if the Causal Principle applies to things within the universe, it might not apply to the universe entirely or it may not hold with respect to the beginning of the universe. This generates a number of doubts like - Q. Can The Universe Begin To Exist Uncaused ? Q. Can Something Come Into Existence From Nothing By Nothing?  Q. Does Causality Apply Outside The Universe? Scepticism towards the Causal Principle opens the door way for atheists to deny a band of arguments for God that rely on causality. This form of scepticism seems to be trending within atheists/naturalists circles, However is this scepticism valid? Can causality be denied? Do we have arguments to confirm the Causal Principle?
